So in NPH, you have blockage of CSF outflow transient intracranial hypertension-->ventricle enlargement-->normal ICP.

When then, in pseudotumor cerebri do the ventricles not dilate as well???

The ventricles are normal size in both because they are gradual processes and the outflow is able to adapt and compensate for the increased volumes. With pseudotumor cerebri the ICP is actually high.

didn't we learn about "slit like ventricles" for pseudotumor cerebri somewhere? I thought this was referring the the size of ventricles you see in imaging. also, think of increased ICP-->papilledema in fat 40yo females 🙂
