Should I do it now ( my mcat is April 4th) or should I save it for my last week in order to make sure I'm really familiar w aamc style before the test?

Do it in the middle. (seriously)

That way you have some experience with the VR section, but after taking the self-assessment you will still have plenty of time to study (ie. where you went wrong and the reasoning behind all the answers) before test day.

Thanks for your help! I've been finding tprh verbal really helpful so my plan was to do tprh for another two weeks and then just the verbal assessment the last week to be in the mindset of aamc wording. But I agree with spinach dip. May be best to do them a bit earlier!

Agreed with spinach dip. If you still have TPRH passages left finish those asap ideally by the end of this week. Then next week (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) take one a day, my advice would be to break them down into 3 individual tests since your exam date is so near (ie 7passages/40 questions/60 mins, 120 questions = 40 questions/exam = 3 exams) as opposed to the traditional 2-3 passage/day approach. Good luck.
