SO i just did a full MCAT and got and 11 in physical 10 in Bio and a 6 in verbal!!!!! HELP!

I was doing aamc 9. WHat am I doing wrong. Before I started hardcore studying I could get at least an 8-10 range and now I get that!

ADVICE PLEASE!

Okay, first of all. Relax. AAMC 9 and 10 are known to have brutally difficult verbal sections, so don't panic if your score has dropped.

Also, judging by your post count, I'm going to bet that you haven't seen this thread yet.

A lot of pre-med students have trouble with verbal, (I'm one of them, it's my worst section) so don't panic just yet if you're not scoring as high as you want.

Thanks. I feel much better knowing that the aamc9 have a brutal verbal section. I am shooting for a 30 so really I just want like a 9 on it.

I don't recall many posters over the years saying AAMC 9 had a particularly hard VR. What is usually said is that AAMC 9-11 are the most representative of the current MCAT. In any case, no one on here can tell you exactly what went wrong. You'll need to do a thorough post-practice review to find your weaknesses.

Alternatively, if you haven't taken a break in awhile, you could just be burned out.

Thanks I think I was just burned out I was doing like 10 hour days of studying for like 6 days straight so I think that is what happened. I have never gotten a score that low on verbal so I think that makes the most sense.
