Do we get an email when we are verified or do we have to continuously check ourselves?

Yes, you will receive a message from AADSAS stating verification is complete and your application will be mailed out next batch.

Do you know when that second batch date is? I was possibly thinking of adding some schools and don't want to miss the deadline.

A new batch is sent out every Friday so have it in preferably a couple days before to make sure its included in that batch.
