So I got to see my dean's letter the other day. My performance was summed up as "very good," which isn't what I was expecting. I wasn't a clinical stud but was expecting to be "excellent." With the exception of OB and surgery, all my clinical evals used either outstanding or excellent but the final verdict was "very good." I've got above derm-average USMLE, nice LORs, derm pubs, and good med school going for me but wasn't stoked about the "very good" designation. Feeling down about this. Anyone else in similar shoes?
