I also go to MN. Don't worry about it. They have the second track for a reason and it qualifies just as equally as the first track. You have nothing to worry about.

trixie, i had the same 10 minutes of pain yesterday. VCU is the only school that i am applying to that requires gen I and gen II without any acceptable alternatives to fulfill the 8 semester hours of biology. they are adamant about this even though i have gen I, micro, cell, biochem, and physiology (this spring).
