I am about to be applying to vet school next year and I am conflicted on how to decide which ones I want to apply to. I know that I want go into small maybe mixed animal medicine and specialize in rehabilitation, physical therapy, acupuncture and chiropractics. I realize for this specialty I must go to additional schooling after vet school for each one. But what I was wondering if anyone knew of a good vet school that would help me explore/ expose me to my interests while in vet school.

Tennessee has a big rehab focus for both horses and dogs. You might want to look into it.

Tufts does alternative medicine I think...but I heard their large animal program isn't great

I think the same veterinary acupuncturist that is from the Chi Institute is also involved with teaching at Florida's vet program. I forget his name.

Someone mentioned him in the Veterinary forum in a thread there either under alternative medicine or acupuncture programs.

He is highly regarded in the U.S. for acupuncture. (He is Chinese, that I do know.)

haha "know of a good one?"
hmm, how about: whichever one you get into?

Honestly I would tell you to apply to as many as you can afford. I swear sometimes I think it is a total crap shoot!! It would be better to have to choose from a couple than to not get in anywhere.
