Depends on how many you take at a time and what schools you are applying to because they have different requirements.

Most basic is a year of chem, bio, physics and a series of o chem and bio chem. Math, genetics, micro, stats, nutrition, physiology, and medical terminology are all courses they may ask for, too.

Also note that chem and bio have prerequisites to take them, or at least they did at my school.

I would be surprised if you finished in under 2 years.

It depends on what schools you are applying to. The vet college at my university requires the completion of 20 pre-requisite courses to apply. Students at my school often take 5 classes per semester so they can complete the requirements within two years.

These are the bare minimum course requirements at my university though. Keep in mind that many students don't get accepted into vet school right away and it's common to keep working towards a degree in the meantime.

Also, some vet schools require you to have a Bachelor's Degree so make sure you're not just taking pre-reqs without having a degree for some schools!

I think UC Davis is the only stateside school that requires a bachelors?
