Hey! Canadian student here studying in the US. I want to return home this summer and work for a vet student summer program similar to what Banfield has. Has anyone worked for VetStrategy or VCA? Also if you have done their summer program did you enjoy yourself? Did you have good mentorship? Sorry for all the questions!
VetStrategy and VCA, thoughts?

I did the VCA one a couple of years ago. I had great mentorship, but I feel like that's going to be practice-dependent. I was in ER so there was always something different coming through the doors. It exposed me to a lot. But I worked HARD!

I was kind of a special case. I interviewed in mid-late January, and they were impressed enough with my interview that they tried to get me into a specialty hospital that hadn't said they'd take students that year. It didn't wind up working out, but that meant that we were in communication all along.
