Palmetto, Noridian, CGS dropping coverage.
Where’d you see this? My slow ass HOPD gig is looking to get this approved which will take probably a year

cheaper yes, but what evidence is there that it works better?Just do PRP. It's cheaper and works better.
Anyone know how this will effect HOPD RVU generation or not at all since they’ll eat the cost whether or not it’s covered after performing?RIP ViaDisc.

what do you define as young? under 50? Agree intradiscal gent makes sense. What volumes were you injecting?Mesoblast phase 3
Hydrafil phase 2
A lot others in pre clin and phase 1-3
I think hydrafil will be interesting with the hydrophilic properties to bring water back into the disc

I’ve done a few intradiscal PRP over the years when pt or surgeon requests and when it makes sense younger healthy non smoker etc (charged $1200 so not egregious), got a message from a 27 yo 2 years out pain 6 to 0 back to tennis fwiw, intradiscal gent abx with all them
I think it will be interesting to look at study with one of these allograft products where they’re taking healthy disc from donors and couple it with intracept
Did viadisc get shut down bc lobbiest have money in one of these other companies…?
Searching for the holy grail…Mesoblast phase 3

100 days of them.could it have been the gent that helped? Remember the study regarding intradiscal abx being beneficial....
Still think the MOA was weight loss from intractable diarrhea.100 days of them.
This pt in particular was 25, accesses one side didn’t spread to the annular tear I put 1 cc PRP LP there, then accessed from the other side, contrast filled the tear with a roar from the pt put 1.5 cc there same prp lpwhat do you define as young? under 50?
