Hi all

I was wondering what the clinical vignettes on the board exam were structured like. Are they videos, or all written? Do they require a particular study method? Will just studying for boards in general (questions, the usual sources listed on this site) be sufficient?

There are some sample vignettes on the ABPN's website somewhere. Vignettes as of 2014 were a mixture of videos and written vignettes. They theoretically test the same knowledge as the rest of the exam, and I'm not sure of any other way to prepare for them. Spiegel has sample written vignettes that are somewhat like the real deal. They're stupid and generally poorly done (the ones on the real board that is).
