Why does viral hepatitis present with normal or decreased urine urobilogen? (From anki deck)

Isn't viral hepatitis supposed to increase conjugated bilirubin, mostly? And isn't conjugated bilirubin the precursor to urine urobilogen?

So viral hepatitis will damage bile ducts. This in turn leads to decreased urobilinogen since the conjugated bilirubin doesn’t reach the intestines.

Urobilinogen is formed by bacteria from the conjugated bilirubin. It is then broken down into stercobilin which is excreted in the stool or into urobilin which is excreted in the urine.
