Are virions produced when the virus enters the lytic cycle? Causing the cell to lyse?
 
Edit: misread the question, thought you were speaking about viroid and yes, you are right.

No virion are self replicating single stranded RNA .. and most are found in plants because they lack a caspud. You they can't even infect a human cell. . As a matter of fact, Hepatitis D is the only virikns which infect human cells and it does so, by confection with hepatitis B.

So I doubt they can enter the lyric cycle since they don't use any of the cell machinery for replication. And furthermore. , they are not viruses but infective particles with are smaller than viruses.

This is incorrect. You are thinking of viroids.
