VIRMP Transcript Question

Most definitely a silly question but I thought I would ask and make sure! When submitting your transcript to VIRMP, it has a field "GPA based on:". Is this simply referring to the 4-point system or the number of credits completed? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I interpreted it as asking for the scale that your GPA is based on. Not a stupid question though, I sat and stared at it for a while.

I emailed them a few weeks ago asking this same question because I just could not figure it out! Yes it means the scale that your GPA is based on (aka what your max GPA could be), for the majority it's out of 4.0 🙂
