Are my LORs automatically uploaded to the schools, or do I have to request VE to send them? Also, how about the schools that weren't on the list, do I talk to my advisor about those?

VE sends the schools an email telling them how to log in and download your letters. I don't know if that's done automatically or not, my school handled VE for me.

haha wow i had this same exact question today and was contemplating on making a thread or not. I was kind of uneasy about it b/c it feels like it all out of my control. I'd rather just have my letters and know that I sent them to the schools that way i am not wondering.

Anyways, I googled VE and found their website and read this page, which was very helpful and eased my concerns b/c I now understand exactly how it works. The website breaks it down into different scenarios for how the schools will be notified and how they can upload your letters.

so the schools that are participating in the AMCAS LOE pilot thing..... do we have to do anything different? Or will AMCAS get that same type of email for the schools that I have listed?

The LOE thing is a nightmare...but VE went automatically for me. I only have two LOE schools and a couple of days after I got the "your letters are now available to schools" email from VE I got a confirmation that I was complete from one of them.
