In CMMRS pg 168 there are two figures for ssRNA virus replication. Both figures say that RNA replication occurs by using the host's RNA polymerase. Is this correct?
Isn't human RNA pol resigned to the nucleus, whereas ssRNA viruses are replicated in the cytoplasm?
Can the human RNA pol really use viral RNA as a template?
This contradicts Levinson.
