Hi ,
i have my US visa interview in 2 days . I had a 10yr visa which is expiring soon and i have visited the US a couple of times in the last year. I want to know whether i should disclose to the interviewer that my purpose of coming to the US is to give the national boards ? Or should i say i am visiting family ? Since im no longer a student at my home country..will it be difficult to acquire a visa ?
Please let me know !!

im not sure..but if u hav ur family member u can tell tht ur visiting thm...but it depends .....get info from ppl whom came like this b4....all the best

Well, it depends what kind of visa are you applying for???If it is turism then you just say you are coming to visit, if you say you are coming for NBDE then I would say just if I was applying for a student visa, but if you have family over here then it would be better to say you are coming to visit your family for something important for example graduation of somebody, wedding....

as u said that its better to go on a tourist visa...
but do u think it wud pose any problem wen we go to giv exam..?

I had applied for tourist visa...but they asked me the purpose of my visit..so i told them that i have to take NBDE..so they inquired the date and place where i would take this exam......and they granted me the visa..

I would say be honest to them because if you make some other excuse..you would need a proof for that..like invitation letter for attending graduation party...
just show them that you are very career oriented and professional🙂

hav u finished ur studies in india..?
wat documents u showed to tel them that u wud comin back to india..
coz i think its very imp.for them to kno..
