Hello friends,

I am looking forward to take my nbde and I am on f-1 visa now. I am now planning to go on a dependant visa and that will depend on my husband's status. I wanted to know if one can join the dental school on an h-4 visa or we need to obtain an f-1 again for the dental school which we are accepted in. I have to really take my decision as soon as possible and all the inputs from you all is most welcome.

even I am on H-4 status,i would like to know whether i can study in H-4?do you know any one in school with same visa status?

I know a few girls who studied on H4..not dental school but engg.
And my attorney also said that one can study on H4.
The only thing I see is that once u graduate and u dont have EAD or GC by then..u have to search for an employer who'll sponsor ur H1. I am not sure if its a prb but u might want to check arnd.
If u r on F1..once u graduate..the first yr u can work on OPT..so by then if u impress ur employer u can get sponsorship..also it gives u a lot of time to look arnd for someone else who will do the same.

NO!🙂
But if u have GC or citizenship..u can take federal loans which come at a lower interest rate than private loans.
