I talked to my pre-med advisor and am hoping to applying next summer for the following cycle. Since I am a NY resident and my top choices are NYCOM and Touro-NY, she suggested I let them know that their school is my top choice and contact someone about visiting. She even suggested printing out an official transcript and bringing a resume.

What are your thoughts on this? Would it hurt doing this? Is bringing that much with you too much...?
