VITA Thoughts?

How much do y'all think VITA will be factored into the admissions process this cycle as it is the first time being used?

VITA is literally CASPer, but video format instead of typing. I honestly do not know what the point of it is. The questions you will see on VITA are legit secondary applications questions. So I do not know the weight of it on an application.

I guess it's weight is going to depend on the institution in question. I will say the questions aren't too hard.

Yeah that's how I felt tbh, I just thought it was kinda a time crunch to have only a minute to organize your thoughts and say everything in 3 minutes without fumbling

School that require it will use it in some way, one imagines. If a school does not require it, then it is unlikely to have any influence on a school's decisions.

Not having any experience with VITA, I can't comment. Overall, what's done is done, and no point in dwelling on the past.

If we aren't using VITA, we really have no idea what might ameliorate a poor VITA.
