Ok quick question.

On VMCAS it provides 2000 characters for an explanation statement. On my supplemental it offers 5000 characters. Obviously 5000 characters does a much better job of explaining everything I want to get across. Problem is I am not sure how to handle the character difference. Can I just write on VMCAS "see supplemental." should I write different information on both? or should I just put a portion on VMCAS and the whole thing on my supplemental? I am really struggling with how to handle it.

Thanks for your help!

If you read the "instructions" part for each, the PS and ES are two different things. The PS actually has a prompt (that I stuck to pretty closely) and the ES is strictly for deviations from the norm re: grades, semesters off, etc. So my PS and ES were very, very different.

Sorry, I didnt explain that quite right. I am asking about a difference between the explanation statement and the "special circumstances" portion on my supplemental. not the personal statement.
The sections in question are both for the same purpose, only one has more characters then the other.
