I was wondering if anyone knew how bad it'd look if I had to void the MCAT twice. I was scheduled to take it last summer but got sick the week of and voided the exam after taking it.

I was supposed to take it again today, but the Greyhound I was supposed to take broke down and I couldn't get on another one until 11pm, didn't arrive at the station until 2am. By that time the hotel's check in was closed and I ended up sleeping outside on a bench until 7am. Sat for it, felt terrible and voided it at the end.

I'm not really sure what to do now other than sign up and take it again. I originally thought that adcoms wouldn't see the voids but apparently that's changed?

So, basically don't worry about it and just do well on the MCAT?

MCAT voids are basically a free pass; it's never actually evaluated so how is anyone to say you did poorly? Truth be told though, that's an expensive endeavor- around $700. I'd re-evaluate what the cause of the void truly is and work on it.

MCAT voids never show up. Only count against the total number of times you can take it. You could void the test 5 times and schools will never know. They will only see the scores of the test you submitted.

2 voids = 600$. Not exactly "free."

Closer to $1,000 >.<
I had to spend $310 for the test. $100 for the greyhound tickets there and back and $60-120 for the hotel depending on if I stay 1 or 2 days.

Ended up costing me $480 for the one exam I sat.

So wtf. Why not score at least one of the exams? I would have to feel reaaaallllllyyyyy ****ty to not score my exam.

I did score it. Luckily did well so I only had to take it once.
