LMAO... I really hope that I didn't do it but something was weird at the end of the test where I am thinking I hit yes. But I re-read the next page that came up and it wasn't a conformation or anything but like a end the test button. Is that right?

For those of you who had to void, and I'm sorry to hear that, but can someone explain the details about what happens, I just want to make sure.

the "yes" prompt asks if you WANT to score your scores. the "no" prompt indicates that you DO NOT want to score your scores. if you hit "yes," your scores will be scored and you are fine.

fux... i dont remember what i did....... hopefully i put the right one...

Haha, right after I walked out of the room I second guessed myself and wondered... "did i score it?"

but i sat there for a good 10 seconds making sure i picked the right one, so I'm sure I had it scored. I'm sure you did too. Don't be paranoid.

i think that if you got that "official" looking paper with the number and the prometic center card, then you picked to have it scored.

i think i threw that away... or something... but i did get a paper

You get the paper whether or not you voided. The paper even says something like "if you voided, do nothing..."

crap... is there anyway to tell that you took the test and it's being graded?

this paranoia is getting to me, now i'm worried whether or not i voided the test :scared:

I have superpowers!

j/k. I just know that if everybody taking the test is as paranoid as me, they read the choice like 8 times before they select.

hummmm i wonder what strategies kaplan and TPR have to answer the most important question??

to the OP...im sure you are just going through post mcat paranoia. Just relax...there is nothing you can do now if you did void. But its unlikely that you voided. Okay enough use of the word void...i am thinking of peeing now. haha

Hard to believe that anyone could take a test that tedious and requiring that much preparation and then just blindly hit Yes or No without reading what the last page said. That being said, I'm sure you still subconsciously read/knew what it was and chose the right option.. just relax for now.

I have the same exact fear that I accidently voided by automatically pressing yes or no (still don't know which I chose or which was the right one to choose), I took the August 9th exam. I should know in 18-19 hours whether I did or didn't void!

You can call AMCAS and they have a VOID list but they said it takes 48 hours. and the other poster I think cleared it up when they explained that hitting yes means score and not VOID... LOL. Oh geez.

Maybe you'll figure out how the void question works on your fourth exam. :meanie:

Someone posted a while back saying that if you void, it asks you again to confirm the void. I wonder if this is true.

wtf man...if u chooose to void it..i am sure they will ask u a million times to confirm it...

there is no way u can miss that

I wouldn't be surprised if AAMC was purposely inconspicuous on the void wording just as another "weeding" technique to screw kids out of medical school. lol...
