does anyone here have an opinion on how the two different lenses compare?

I'm curious about the VOLK 90 superfield vs. the Ocular Instruments 90 Maxfield

Ocular instruments 90/78/20D all suck monkey butt. AR sucks on them and the quality of the images suck. I sold all 3 of them and bought a VOLK 20D and spent extra cash for a Volk Superfield NC (90D equivalent with better optics and larger FOV). The only lens I absolutely love from Ocular is their 4-M Gonio Flange lens. Great for viewing angles but poor for compression gonio..thats when I like the 3-M gonio from Volk.

what's your opinion on prices? i'm finding 90D (volks) for 140 and the ocular 4M for 250.

I know a few colleagues finding the 90D from volk for 120 from ebay and the 4M is about 250 almost anywhere. I personally think 90D going for about 120 is good but 140 is not worth it. 250 for 4M w/ flange is probably worth it though I think there are better out there. Check Lombart Instruments..they might have a deal.
