Ben's Friends, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, builds, maintains and moderates internet communities that provide social and emotional support for people whose lives have been touched by a rare disease. Our 40+ communities are safe, supportive and non-commercial.
We have a limited number of volunteer internships available. Interns welcome new members/patients, review requests for memberships and learn communications and moderation skills. This volunteer work is all online, and very flexible in terms of time commitments. More information and an application form is available here.
