If you are interviewed by a director of volunteer service at a hospital, what questions will you ask him/her about the volunteer works? ( as many as possible)
Is it a good thing to volunteer at unrelated-health field ? I am volunteering at an elementary school and some organizations that have nothing with pharm./health field right now.
Thanks for your reply ! MUCH APPRECIATED !!!!🙂

Volunteer activities are good regardless of the setting. However, if you are interested in a career in health care it may behoove you to get some experiences in the field that you are interested in. That's the beauty of volunteering in health care for the most part, you get to see what the job is like, without having all the extensive training that most medical careers require. I mean who wants to go to school and spend a lot of time and money in the process for something they won't enjoy? Not many. So try to get some volunteer experience in your field of choice, or even better, you may find you like teaching!
