Hi all,

I'm a non trad. I currently work in the commercial production industry.

During/after my first BA in film and video, I was an unpaid intern at post production houses. In total, I was at various houses for 200 hours. I wasn't paid, but I helped on projects/kept the fridge stocked/etc. Being there helped me network my way into a job, as well as gain experience in the commercial industry.

Currently, I volunteer at a yoga studio. It's unpaid. In exchange, I get unlimited access to the studios to practice.

Would these be considered non clinical volunteer work? It's not really helping the community, but it's not paid work, either. Would this fall under it's own category?

I'd call this "other" to distinguish it from community service.
