Hey whats going on future docs, I just had a quick question I was hoping someone could answer for me involving volunteer hours for the application process. I had 200 hours at an assisted - living home, a retirement home where I deal with the elderly mostly dementia/alzheimers patients. At first I was not into the work, but I have grown to like it and the patients themsevles although I would not go into geriatrics. My question is, what do I need from the company to vouch for my volunteer hours? Do I need the president/owner of company (it is small) to write a letter. It is state-certified as well, a legitimate practice but is all I need a letter or something? Is it really that simple? Thanks guys!

For AMCAS you just need contact info (phone number and/or email) for a reference.
