So, where do/did you volunteer? Or are most of you going for paid jobs?

I just got hooked up to volunteer in the ER on Saturdays and I am very excited about it....I hope to do this strait through my 3 years of undergrad, with the possibility of turning it into a paid position after some time spent.

I volunteer at my local hospice, which has really been a good experience. Starting in March, I am going to also be over at the hospital, doing rotations through the ER, surgical floor, and peds. I am defenitley looking forward to it. Im not looking for a paid position...Im content with what Im doing now.

im currently volunteering at the ER and at the other hospital at the post cancer ward.....hopefully in the summer, after i get emt certified, ill be working as a triage or something which is basically the guy in the ER who decides who gets to see the doctor 1st and who has to wait it out.

I just saw an ad in the paper that the Make a Wish Foundation was looking for volunteers, so I want to check that out. If that doesn't work out, I will try to volunteer at Children's Hospital of Milwaukee or maybe Froedert. I need something big and exciting to keep me busy.
