Hey guys.
I'm looking for some volunteering opportunities in hospital in nyc and long island but so many places are not accepting applications or require 6-7 month commitments. I'm only going to be here over the summer because I go to school in DC. Anyone know of any hospitals out there?
Also, I've been calling up and emailing a bunch of doctors in the area and have had no luck finding someone to shadow. Any tips on this?
I tried my PCP. Reject. LIJ doesn't accept anyone. I asked my cousin who is an anesthesiologist but the shadow program only allows one to go in shadow for three days so that's pretty useless.
