I'm currently a pre-dent student and I was just offered to volunteer at internal medicine dept. Would this help me going into a dental school>?

Yeah of course, it shows your interest in serving the community. Down the line try doing something dental related as well.

Integrating health care into your volunteering looks good on a Dental App. I didn't necessarily directly integrate dentistry into my volunteering but I did volunteer at home for the developmentally disabled and a day treatment center for the develpmentally disabled.. basically do extra to give back to your community and help others and it will look good...
