just curious on those who are accepted to d-schools (predents and dental students) that have volunteer service.

Im guessing everyone on this website does. Ive never heard of an applicant who doesnt have any community service whatsoever. Having said that, I only had 15 hours and got accepted to 5 schools. Because my custom is doing thigs the other way around, after my application was sent, Ive done more than 80 community service hours...Im weird...

You pretty much have to volunteer. Kind of hard to shadow for substantial number of hours.

same here, i've had ~25. i'll probably have more this summer which, unfortunately for me, is after my apps are done when i have more free time. hopefully i can add it in later.
