I will begin volunteering at an outpatient clinic and I am really excited because this is my first time. I'm scared though because I have no idea what to expect about what I'm going to do. If any one has any tips about what to do, etc. that would be great!

Don't be afraid or reluctant to do menial tasks. Don't wait till you're asked, try to anticipate what the PT will need and be a step ahead. Ask questions at the right time (i.e., not when the PT is busy talking to the patient), like "is this exercise designed to strengthen the [muscle name]"? Once you earn the PT's respect, s/he will be a lot more open with you. It worked for me.
