Hey guys: please i need your vote.

DAT 06: 20AA, 20TS, 18RC, 19BIO, 23CHM, 19PAT, 11Carving !!

DAT 07: 20 AA, 21TS, 17RC, 20BIO, 22CHM, 18PAT, 20Carving

2009 cycle will be my second time applying. this time, im applying to a lot more schools. so some schools will have neither my scores. my options are:

1. just send my 07 scores (the 11 in carving has brought up issues!) and my TS did go up 1.

2. send them both! (i did BETTER in RC and PAT for the 06 one) .. which will also cost me an additional like 350 bucks for the Canadian dental association. 😛

for the schools that look at the most recent scores, will it help if my RC and PAT were higher in the previous dAt. or do the not care?

thx guys!

wow........i didnt know in canada you can pick and choose which one you want to send.

i say just send the more recent one.

Correct me if i am wrong, but I believe that american schools only look at the most recent DAT score.

i heard different schools have different policies. i never really looked up what policies because i only took the DAT once.

that's right. some will take the overall better of the two scores. again, depends on the school.

Does anyone know if USC combines DAT scores? Like if you did better in one area one time, and better in another area the other time?

IF you get to choose which scores you send that's not fair but I don't make the rules.

I would send them both. Show them you took the DAT twice and you did almost the same. Why not let them know you took the DAT twice? Do you have anything to hide? If anything your scores show IMPROVEMENT AND COMMITMENT OVER TIME.
