Aaah

Anyone else get excited when they saw this email in their mailbox
but then have their hopes shattered when they saw:

"Invitation to complete our secondary application and interview at VUMS will be mailed as soon as the screening of your application is completed"

🙁

Raises hand!

Man, that does seem extra harsh. Of course, my heart usually skips a beat every time my "new e-mail" noise goes off. I'm not even expecting anything important yet!

I know exactly how it feels to get a big bolded (1) in your e-mail inbox especially if it comes from a medical school. There were times when I would check my e-mail about 25 times a day during the week, only to be disappointed.

You should try getting an email client. I have one for all of my addresses and the instant I get an email it shows up... freaks me out every time!

Lets just say that during the year during classes I will be constantly checking my email on my phone...

Hmm...good idea...you just gave me a reason why I need one of those fancy iphones....😀....

Yup... I have one! So I can also check the websites, etc... when I'm bored.

I believe if you look hard enough you'll find another thread full of misery and false hope from July 2007, as well...they did the same thing to us last year, as well. 🙂

You'd think they'd learn!
