Hi, I moved back in to Washington state after getting married this Summer. I graduated this summer and passed Naplex already. I took WA mpje right after my naplex and failed by a point. I am scared to take it second time. I don't know anything and anyone here in Washington. I need some help as what to study. Can anyone help me? if there anyone out there who have taken it twice? is it pretty similar compared to the first time taking mpje?

Thanks.

I failed mass mpje twice and it wasn't the same. It seems like a lot of people are failing the mpje this year or BARELY (75-78) passing. The exam is new. I can't wait to see the pass rates when they come out for 2016. Hopefully I get through it in my third attempt. Good luck, it's brutal.

Hi, I was wondering when you take your MPJE... did your question get harder like more K type, select all the apply, and case type of questions? So, when I first take it...my question got really easy at the end and it was like factual kind of question and I missed by 1%. This second time around, I actually got more K type and select all the apply at the end of my exam. I am still waiting for the result. 🙁

Did you take WA state MPJE?? yeah, first time I took the test, I got easy question at the end. did you think that second time was similar from the first one?

I agree with you.. the exam is brutal and the pass rate has dropped. I have failed MI MPJE twice by 2 points.

Can you tell us your experience?? First time around, did you get easier question at the end of the test for both time?? More like how many day you need to report theft loss? etc...or more like case, k-type, and multiple choice??

hi,

the first attempt was last year before april 2016. the exam was pretty straight and very few select all that apply. teh whole exam was evenly spaced.
the second attempt was after april 2016---- the questions are all tricky, out of the 120 q is was confident of maybe 10/15.. the exam was tougher at the beginning. many select all that apply... maybe 30. the direct questions were so tough. almost every choice seemed correct. and I had naplex like questions.. around 10 q from immunization technique, allergies, cpr etc

The first time I got an easy questions on a c2 prescription. Second time I got a question on automated dispensing device as my last exam question. Which I didn't study too much. (Failed both)

So is both your test at the end is like straight forward questions? or more like case, k-type, and select all?

Oh, i didn't know that you were waiting for your result. I thought you already passed.. good luck! watiing is hard

Yeah, I am just finger cross. I can tell you that there is no repeat questions for the second time. At least for mine. I only have 1 repeat question. My second time do have more K-type, case, and select all the apply ... like 41 questions. I think I will know by tomorrow.. I am so scared.

I took the Washington MPJE in August and I had mostly multiple choice questions. A couple select-all-that-apply. I had 3-4 duplicate questions, which made me nervous I picked the wrong answer the first time.

Good luck to all that are waiting for results.

Did you pass ??

Congrats! I was missing by 1 point first time... well still waiting for my result for 2nd time.... 🙁 Law is so hard!

I passed this one easily. Know your federal law (I used the old RxPrep MPJE prep materials and videos and found them very helpful in studying federal law and also helpful in knowing what to look at for state law. They have newly released ones; they might be better?) and the DEA pharmacist's handbook well, then read through William Fasset's Washington Pharmacy Law: A User's Guide (prices have gone way up; was $5 when I bought it directly from the author!).

Reiss and Hall's book Guide to Federal Pharmacy Law may also be helpful for federal law, but less so.

i should take it for the third time. if you already took yours, how do you compare third time to the second time? and how did you study for it?
