Hi,

I will be a P3 student in the fall, and I had received the Walgreens scholarship for P2 year from a district in California that I want to work for after graduation (this is not my current district where I work as a pharmacy intern). I just e-mailed the Rx District Supervisor for that district about renewing the scholarship for P3 year, but I have not received a reply. I followed up the e-mail 2 weeks later with another e-mail (in case my first e-mail got lost in her mailbox), but still no reply (it has been about 2 weeks since the second e-mail).

Do you think I should bother following up again by calling the district supervisor, or should I take this as a hint that she does not want to renew my scholarship (especially with Walgreens' hiring freeze)? Have any of you been able to renew your scholarship for this upcoming year of school (2010-2011)?

Thanks

The application period for the 2010-11 school year doesn't open until September 1st. They can't do anything until that time, so that might be why she didn't reply.

i can't imagine the hiring freeze lasting into fall. You normally have a lot of movement in August/September.

Thanks. So I should wait until September before making a follow-up?
