Wait, can someone explain to me how we preferentially send out LORs?

I submitted my application yesterday, along with 4 letters of recs that are on the way to ADEA.

A question: once these 4 letters get there and my application is processed, do I then get to choose which of the letters I send to which schools? Not many schools require 4 letters, and some only require 2.

Hi, all 4 letters will be sent to all the schools you applied to. You cannot choose which letter goes to which dental school.

If you want to send an individual letter you may have to send it personally to the dental schools mailing address. Call and ask to make sure, if you plan to do this.

Do you know if all schools will read all four letters though? Even the ones that just require 2. Or will they just pick 2 random ones? 2 of my letters are much stronger than 2 of my other ones, I think.

Did you send those LOR to ADEA yourself? I always suggest people to let the professor send it in via electronically. This way school understand that it is "pure" LOR from professor and it will get there fast since it is electronically. But that is just my opinion.

I had my Profs send them to my Career Center Letter Service, and I'm forwarding the letters from there onto ADEA.

Ahh thats nice that your school as mailing center. But make sure that all the letters get send on time since i have heard from someone that it didn't get sent from "mailing center" after 2 weeks. This is why i asked "electronic submission" for all of the LORs. But I am sure your letter will be fine.

When you asked professors to "electronically submit" the LORs did they email them to each school? or just to the ADEA? also do we just tell the professors to address it to "To whom this may concern" ?

When you input the professor's email address on "evaluator" section, it will automatically send the email to the professor telling them to upload LOR. (BECAREFUL, once you input the email and save it, it will send the email right away).

The professor will upload the LOR to ADEA, once ADEA receives it (instant), they will send it to designated schools of your choice.
