In July I will be spending time working at a Camp for children with autism. I will likely be able to get a dynamite reference letter, but it wouldn't be able to get it until August'ish. Right now I have 3 pretty good letters (my school doesn't have a premed advisory) ..I have one from my research supervisor..one from a prof...and one from my overnight camp director. Should I wait for a better reference, or is it smartest to apply as early as possible? Also, for the activities list it might be better to have already done the activity rather than saying "I will be doing..." that way I could talk about what I learned from the experience and such. Thoughts? Thanks!!

Just submit it now. You can use that letter as a supplement. Also, when they interview, they see all the letters in your file. So your interviewer will be able to see this additional "dynamite" LOR.

I agree with this.

Similar question, I need an additional science letter (I only have 1) for most of the schools I want to apply to. The person is writing it, is it fine if I submit have them send it to AMCAS after I submit my application? I don't think it will be looked at until later anyways so I want to know if I could submit it once I have all the rest of my stuff together.
