Hi everyone,

I know this question has been asked plenty of times before, but I took the MCAT for the first time on May 18 this year and I believe scores will be released around June 18. I feel like the exam I took was fairly difficult and I don't feel confident that I did too well 🙁 Since applications for AMCAS are open should I wait until my score comes back before applying? If my first score is bad I'm considering doing a retake sometime in July, but I don't know if that is too late and how this affects the timing of my application review.

Advice much appreciated!

it's either going to be good and you're going to wish you had applied early or it's going to be bad and you're going to want to retake it and still wish you had applied early. Or are your planning to wait for the results of the July exam before deciding if you'll apply?

if you're planning on applying this year either way, why not just submit your stuff early?
