I am taking Bio2 and Chem2 this upcoming fall semester. Then Organic 1 and Molecular Cell Biology in the Spring 2013. I want to take the MCAT in May to be able to apply early, and then possibly a second test in September if my score is low.

My question is, when should I begin reviewing? In January?

Thank you.

you can review whenever you want; i don't see any harm in starting early, but can see where it may result in a lower score if you don't. to be honest, this was kind of a dumb question.

But you answered it, so thank you.

I guess that the reason I asked was because I was wondering how much of the MCAT I would be able to even do without having first taken Bio2 and Chem2.

Thanks for the time and help though.

it probably won't hurt you to even try to learn the stuff you haven't been taught in class. not only will it make the class easier, but the class can be another type of review for the mcat.

What year in school are you?

And don't start reviewing too early. You may either burn through practice material too quickly or just burn yourself out. Both of which suck.

It's not going to be in your best interest to take the exam without finishing the prerequisite courses for it. It's kind of stupid, actually.
