Wait to send it secondaries?

I just spoke to AADSAS, and they told me that my application will go out in the next mailing. My question to you guys is this: Should I wait until I schools would have received my application to send in the secondary fees? I am afraid if they don't have the app, they won't know what to do with my file.

I think its ok to send in the money when you submit AADSAS. I sent the money, along with a letter to 7 of the 12 schools. In the letter, I stated that I was applying for Fall 2005 admission, and then I gave them my SSN, name, address, phone number, and email. So far I've talked to 5 of the 7 schools I sent money to and all of them said they had my money and my AADSAS app.

I submitted my App on May 18. I sent the money on May 24. The schools received my application sometime around June 10.

I think you should do what you feel comfortable doing. Also, you may try calling the school to see what they suggest.

I applied to many schoold last year and from my experience I can tell that you should not send secondaries or fees to school before you hear from schools. First they receive your application, then they send you a letter and refer you to the website where you can download secondaries and payment info then you submit your secondary app. together with fees. Some schools like Arizona ask students to submit their secondaries on-line. I would definitelly recommend you to wait untill you'll hear from schools. (or call them and ask)

people, just do what the instructions tell you to do. if you are asked to send it now, then you better send it now. if not, then wait. very simple i think.

It's true Hockeydentist. That's why I would call schools or try to find info on websites before sending money. Not all schools require this.

just a word of caution: some of the addresses are not complete(ie missing the exact room number where the check needs to go). so pls double check!
