Hi everyone. I took the DAT on July 8th with 23 AA/23 TS/18 PAT. My oGPA is 3.88 and my sGPA is 3.83. I submitted my application at the end of July and finished some schools' secondary applications in mid-August. So far, I only got one interview invitation from Touro, which was sent to me at the beginning of September. Since then, I haven't heard back from any other schools and I'm getting more anxious. I was thinking maybe it's because my PAT score is low. Did anyone that submitted the application around the same time I did get more than one interview invitations?

I submitted around the same time and have gotten 3. I just got 2 within the past week so I think they’ll just come in waves. It also just depends on where you applied too I think. I had similar stats as well. Hang in there! I’m still waiting to hear back from 9 more schools

be patient
as long as your PS and LOR are sufficient, hopefully you will here from more schools soon

Waiting: boston, tufts, UCLA, UIC, Columbia, Pen, Harvard, USC
Rejected: UCSF

I applied to 8 schools, have gotten rejected from two already (Creighton and Oklahoma), waitlisted on one (Iowa), and have heard nothing since submitting my applications! I have "received/under review" yet under Tufts, WVU, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Marquette. "Received/Application complete" under UIC. It has been like this for months now and I am getting nervous. Is there anything to do or should I just keep waiting? Any help is appreciated!

Apply to more programs? 8 is a little too few nowadays. The average nubmer is 15, and applicants with lower stats apply to like 20+ programs...

I didn't meet certain criteria so it was an auto-reject. :/
I guess I didn't see one of them when I applied.

That's what I've heard, but it was pretty pricey to do just the 8, so I figured I'd go with the ones I had a shot at. Do you know if the lack of a response is something to be concerned about and start applying to other ones now?? I'm just confused about where all of the apps are at (clearly! haha)

Hey. I know most schools ask for 2 letters from science professors and 1 from the student’s choice. I asked 2 science instructors but they bailed on me even though they agreed to write them. So I asked 1 other science instructor and 1 research professor. In total, I have 2 letters from 2 different research professors, 1 from a periodontist and 1 from a science professor. Do you think some schools would not consider me because my LORs don’t meet the requirements?
