First I was freaking out all summer about the DAT, and now I have to worry about the interview... Anyone else checking SDN religiously seeing who got an interview where? This is sooooooooooo annoying and sucky! I just had to vent 🙂

I feel your pain. I wake up early to call schools to see what my status is. thus far, only a couple of schools have recieved both my app and dat scores...n none has recieved everything yet. it is frustrating...when did you take your DATs? when did you submit? gl. hopefully we will get good news soon enough.

I submitted everything July 14 and took the DATs Aug 10. Don't most of the schools say not to contact them about status etc? I only applied to 4 schools, so it's kinda frustrating. I keep wondering whether I'm good enough etc. I kinda wish I had applied to Case just to see if I'm worth an interview somewhere. Oh well.

oh, well i guess im a few days behind. my gpa verification was on july 17th and i took DATs on aug 16. Some schools do, but not all schools. not to mention, if they won't accept calls, i email them. most the schools i apply to will get back to me via phone or email. some...i just don't hear anything from. oh well. gl.

you wake up early to call them?! are you serious or you just did this once or twice?! well, I think its better than what I am doing which is guessing everything.

i contacted EACH school i applied to 2 wks after my application was mailed out to insure they received everything and to make sure my app. was complete. i highly recommend keeping in touch with the schools to which you applied. A LOT of people are applying, and you want to make sure nothing of yours falls through the cracks 😉

i think it's a little neurotic to contact all the schools so soon. maybe if some schools send you secondaries but other schools have mysteriously not done so then maybe contact them, but i say relax a little bit and give it some time.

I wake up early to call them yes. but if you look at my list, you will notice i applied to 21 schools. i call them to make sure they recieved what i sent out ie DAT scores, aadsas app, lor, and app fee. I don't call every school, just schools that has not contacted me, or given me a receipt for items ive sent them.

Although it may seem a little superfluous, but in my case, its neccessary. the thing is ive relocated 3 times since i started the process, so occasionally i lose mail. my permanant address is at where my parents live which is about 400 miles away, so i just change my address when i move. because of this, i have discovered that certain schools have sent me secondaries or letters that i never actually recieved. for example, UOP seemed to have lost my application, UCLA sent me their secondary over 2 weeks ago and i never got the yellow card. by keeping up with this, i called up addsas and they sent out another application via express mail to catch me up. nobody cares more about our chances then we do, so we must do what we can to optimize our chances.
