Anyone else in the same boat and if so, how did you decide which one?

It all depends on what you need. If you want an apartment, check out the apartment guide that they gave you when you interviewed (if you don't have it just search for it in google, since it is online). If you want a house or to sublet, they will send out packets with information from current students when you get your big packet of info. It also depends on what kinds of animals you're bringing, etc. Housing is cheap here, though, so it shouldn't be too hard to find something.

You can certainly get some good deals on condos around here, if you want to make the investment. I would just make sure to do the research first (especially with the current housing problems). I know a couple of people who have, and it has worked out for them.

oh it was easy - it's the only one I got into! hahaha. I'm waitlisted at Wisconsin and Purdue, but I figured even if I got off the waitlist for Purdue (my number for Wisconsin is absolutely horrible), I'd still end up at UT.

Heh. You probably won't see your packet until early July. Administration goes right from doing admissions to preparing for this year's graduation, and until graduation is over, they don't tend to go back to getting admissions stuff out. At least that's how it was last year.

But you can always call and Deborah Shepherd will always be willing to answer your questions. She never seems bothered by it at all.

I like Knoxville. For a smallish city, there is a lot going on here. Traffic is not really a problem, it's overall pretty affordable, and there's a little bit of everything. I haven't run across anything I needed that I couldn't find here.

Probably, but I would send an acceptance of the offer via snail mail, too. Then you can call Deborah to be sure she has you down on the class roster. Tennessee does not require a deposit, so once she tells you you're on the roster, you are on the roster.

I sent my acceptance of the offer letter today via snail mail.
I wasn't sure exactly what to write, so i looked up a professional school offer acceptance letter sample and followed the format.

I am on the waitlist, but I am going to be removing my name from it, probably tomorrow. I hope that helps you out...although I guess it depends on where I am on the list if it does or not.
