Waiting list at Boston University?

Anyone placed on the waiting list at BU? Any idea when are we going to finaly find out are we in or out? How long is the list? What are the chances????😕

I had an interview in October but never received any letter from BU. I emailed Kevin Acone and he told me that if I still didn't receive anything that means that I'm on the waiting list . Now, my question is did anyone actualy receive an official letter stating that she/he was placed on the alternate list.
And, by the way, my score on part I was only 85 - pretty low for BU...🙁

hi, i noticed ur from canada too. are u planning to take the acfd and apply in canada too? i'm in calgary and i went thru one unsucessful round. mbe we can co-operate and discuss.....

i'm also due for an interview at bu, with a score of 86 (low, as u mentioned)

Hi guys,
I had an interview at BU on the 3rd of April and we were told that there are 6-7 seats remaining. If you are placed on the waiting list shouldn't you receive a letter saying so? Anyways, I know that the last of the interviews for admission for August 2003 is 17th of april and then they will probabaly reach a final decision a couple of weeks after that. Generally waiting list candidates are placed in random order and are selected again after reviewing their applications again if there is a vacancy.So I'd say mostly that after say the end of april, everything will be known.

Thanks very much Kajal for your detailed response. Yes I have never received a letter saying that I am on the waiting list. When I was asking them 4 months ago what is my status, they said: "If you didn't receive anything yet, that means that we are still considering you for admission." Does anyone else have a similar experience with BU? Did anyone receive an actual letter stating that she/he is on the waiting list?

Hi, I went for my interview in Boston y'day. Kevin told us that there is another batch thats going to be interviwed next week which is the last batch. They should be notifying us by may 1st week. he told us there r still 5-10 seats remaining. Out of 500 applicants they interviwed 200. well, we still hv to wait for another 3 weeks & c what happens. whoever gets thro' is really really lucky. good luck to all.

I was interviewed on 3rd april and they sent me a letter saying I have been put on alternate list. I don't know if there's any chance someone will leave boston and open up a position for alternate list holders.
