I had an interview there on Nov. 30. They said that if we had not heard in six weeks to call and find out the state of our application. I called yesterday and the woman said that I had not even gone to commitee and that it would be at LEAST two more weeks. Does anyone have any similar situation?

Also waiting here.. I interviewed at MCP on Nov. 9 and still have not heard a thing. I've heard on the PR board that other ppl who interviewed around the same time I have been accepted. Apparently early November interviewees started going to committee the week before X-mas and the holiday slowed things down a bit. I really should call them and find out what's up with my application. I'm guessing I'll be waitlisted but don't know for sure.. good luck!

got waitlisted as expected; took them 10 weeks to tell me that too

I'm still waiting to hear about a rejection or interview! This has got to be a bad sign, no?

I write messages on money.
It's my own form of social protest.
A letter printed on paper that no one will destroy.
Passed indiscriminately across race, class, and gender lines, and written on the blood that keeps the beast alive.
A quiet little hijacking on the way to the checkout counter, and a federal crime.
I hope that someone will find my message one day when they really need it.
YOU ARE NOT A SLAVE.

I interviewed there on election day and I was accepted on Jan. 8. Thus it took them just about 2 months to send me a response. Hang in there, I'm sure it will work out for you. I wouldn't worry about them not having gone to committee about your file yet. I think they just do things there own way because when I arrived at the admissions office they had to pencil in my name under the other interviewees and had to scramble to find someone to interview me. It seemed like they forgot I was coming or something but it all worked out. Try not to stress about it. You interviewed which means you are a good candidate and chances are everything will be fine.
