Waiting over a year to take Chem 2

I took Chem 1 in Spring of 05 and got a B+ after dropping it in the Fall of 04. Now Im taking Chem 2 in the summer of 06, that and the lab will be my only classes so I have all the time in the world to focus solely on that class. BUT, I have waited over a year to take Chem 2. Will that be a red flag to Adcoms, waiting so long to take Chem 2. I waited because I was working and I didnt want to take on so much and end up doing bad. Is it gonna look bad to be taking it after so long?

I did the exact same thing. Dropped it Fall semester, made a B+ this spring and will take Chem 2 this summer most likely. I don't know why they would think much of it.

I don't think it's a big deal. Just try to do well. Then if you do stand out, you'll make up for it.
