I wanted to know from the time you send in your application (ie. to Suny), how long do schools usually take to reply back....i am trying to patiently wait but it is very difficult.

I would also like to know the answer to this question. I just mailed SUNY my transcripts and letters today and they will recieve it tomorrow.

I sent in my online application about 2 weeks ago and a week after I sent it in I recieved a letter from SUNY saying they had recieved my online application and they will contact me after they review my application.

It depends on the school and even the strength of your application. I didn't apply to SUNY, but I heard that schools recieved my apps. within a few weeks when I applied last year and then it took 6-8 weeks about hearing about an interview.

However, I really played the waiting game last year as I applied to ICO in the beginning of September and didn't find out I was accepted until July 9th as I was put on the alternate list initially. So, never give up no how long the wait is! 👍

I am also on the same boat. However, I am not taking my OATS until Nov. 13th. Do you know if IU, NSU, UMSL or FSU give out interview invitations before receiving ALL application materials, such as OAT scores?

u guys really shouldnt worry... i sent my application in to SUNY during the first or second week of september and just heard from them about an interview this weekend. i heard they keep reviewing applications about every week and invite people in based on that... im assuming if they dont want u one week they'll just compare u again to the next weeks pile (i dunno how true all this is) but basically its rolling admissions and it takes time.... good luck!!! i know its very stressful---for what its worth, i didnt even do well on my OAT; TS 340, AA 330

I'm in Jenboo23's situation. Sent SUNY my completed application on 10/5. Received a letter confirming that they received my application about a week later. Waiting for an update.

Hopefully, we'll find out our status soon.

I had everything in by early September... my LORs, OAT, and everything but my gpa is liek a 3.4 ---u really havea good chance, no worries

So I got a letter in the mail from SUNY today to arrange an interview!! SUNY was really fast getting back to me! I have to call to arrange for the interview which I will do tomorrow.

01 Oct 07 - Online application sent and recieved
09 Oct 07 - Letter acknowledging application
16 Oct 07 - SUNY recieves transcripts & LoR
25 Oct 07 - Recieve letter in mail to arrange interview

me toooooo. I have been checking my mail box for the past month. EVERYDAY. I applied as early decision, and have everything sent. I took my OAT on 9/15, they said that i could email my score to them, and they would review it early. I've been waiting with no response. few weeks ago, i called up to suny about my application status, they said that they just download my official score, and will review it again, and will reply me back within few weeks.
It's been toooooooo long. so far, i only applied to suny, because i am kinda confident with my OAT and gpa. Should i start to apply to other schools?

suny was actually the fastest school for me (still waiting on neco, though....)

i turned in my apps on 9/11

received both my acknowledgement of receipt AND invitation to interview on the same day, dated 9/18, actually received the 22nd or so.
