I've been waitlisted at both Tufts and NYUCD and I do not have any acceptances this cycle. At this point, do I have a decent shot at getting off one of these waitlists? I have read several threads on SDN that say NYUCD's waitlist tends to have substantial movement, but that the Tufts waitlist is unpredictable.

Anyone in a similar position? Advice on what my next steps should be? Thank you in advance!

Sorry, I didn't post them because both schools say they have unranked waitlists.
cGPA 3.3, sGPA 3.1, DAT AA and TS are both 20

I hope so too, they said it should start moving this week!

When were you waitlisted?

Your chances are not great. Work on improving your GPA and/or DAT for the next cycle.

Interviewed march 20; wait listed march 31

I know it hasn't been too long but it's still killing me

Awesome hopefully we both hear good news ASAP!

OPs DAT is fine. Maybe enroll in a master's to show you are able to handle grad level courses.

It's a fine score, but not a great score. Since his GPA is a bit low, he would need a great score to get into schools like NYU and Tufts.

Thanks, I think that's a good idea! I'm almost done with a year of post-bacc science classes (25 hrs, 3.7+ GPA) since I graduated in May 2014, but I'm running out of undergrad science classes to take.

You're right. It's not great, especially with my GPA :/
I wasn't expecting to get interviews, but I figured since I've jumped that hurdle, maybe I still have a fair shot off at least one waitlist?

I have been accepted off another schools wait list and will be passing up my spot at NYUCD. Im sure there are plenty of others like myself. Hang in there.
